Accommodation and Reservations
UMA Formosa is the result of the careful rehabilitation of early 20th-century buildings, preserving the original architectural identity through a magnificent handcrafted skylight, which stands as the central and distinctive feature of the property.
The property combines historic charm with contemporary comfort, standing out for the high quality of its interiors and the attention to detail in the finishes, which give the apartments a refined and distinctive character. Located just a few steps from Rua de Santa Catarina, it enjoys an absolutely central location, ideal for guests who value authenticity, urban living, and a unique experience in the heart of Porto.
The property offers studio (T0), one-bedroom (T1), and two-bedroom (T2) apartments, some of which feature a terrace or balcony, providing different options in terms of space and comfort for each type of stay.

Check-in is from 3:30 pm, and check-out is until 11:00 am.
If you require early check-in or late check-out, please contact us in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your request, noting that this service may be subject to an additional charge.

UMA Formosa offers breakfast delivery directly to the door of your apartment. For an additional charge, a welcome box can also be prepared and delivered on the day of arrival.
Transport and Accessibility
You can reach our property by taxi or car from the nearest airports and train stations, including Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (18 km) and local train stations such as São Bento (2 km). We also offer airport transfer services, subject to availability and an additional cost.
Yes. The central location allows easy walking access to all areas of the city (Baixa, Bolhão, Ribeira, Aliados…). In addition, a metro station is just a 5-minute walk away, providing access to other parts of the city.
Policies and Special Requests
You may indicate special requests at the time of booking in the comments field, or contact us directly by email or phone after your reservation has been confirmed.
Yes. Upon prior request and subject to availability, we can provide baby cots and other children’s equipment. Some options may incur an additional charge.
Yes. Additional housekeeping services may be requested during your stay, subject to availability and possible additional charges. Housekeeping included in the rate is provided every other day.
Yes. We will be delighted to assist in organizing special requests for celebratory occasions. We recommend contacting our team directly so we can assess the available options.
Currently, pets are not allowed. This policy has been defined to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of all guests.
If you are traveling with a duly certified assistance animal, we recommend that you contact us prior to arrival so that we can assess the situation in accordance with applicable legislation.

The property has a physical reception located opposite the building, open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Outside these hours, remote assistance is always available to support guests.
