UMA Formosa is the result of the careful restoration of early 20th-century buildings, preserving their original architectural identity through a magnificent, intricately crafted skylight—a central and distinctive feature of the complex.

Located just a few steps from Rua de Santa Catarina, it offers an absolutely central location, ideal for those who value authenticity, urban living, and a unique experience in the heart of Porto.

The property offers studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, some of which feature a terrace or balcony, providing a variety of space and comfort options for every type of stay.

Check-in is at 3:30 p.m., and check-out is at 11:00 a.m.

If you need to check in early or check out late, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate your request, noting that there may be an additional charge for this service.

Uma Formosa offers the option of having breakfast delivered right to your apartment door. For an additional fee, a welcome box can also be prepared and delivered on the day of your arrival.

Transportation and Accessibility

You can reach our hotel by taxi or car from the nearest airports and train stations, including Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (18 km) and local train stations such as São Bento (2 km). We also offer airport transfer services, which may incur an additional charge and are subject to availability.

Yes. The central location allows you to walk to all areas of the city (Baixa, Bolhão, Ribeira, Aliados…). Plus, there’s a metro station just a 5-minute walk away if you want to go to other parts of the city.

Policies and Special Requests

You can specify any special requests at the time of booking using the comments field, or contact us directly by email or phone after your booking has been confirmed.

Yes. Upon prior request and subject to availability, we can provide cribs and other equipment for children. Some options may incur an additional charge.

Yes. Additional cleaning services can be requested during your stay, subject to availability and at an additional cost. The cleaning included in the rate is performed every other day.

Currently, pets are not allowed. This policy has been established to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of all guests.
